Sharing Comments of YouTube videos make Google+ the most active social Network

Share YouTube Comments directly on Google+ could boost activities for the social network.  Usually, people left comments on YouTube videos, bloggers and other internet pages which they are highly interested and willing to share their opinions about these contents with others.

Thus, 60-80% of these comments on YouTube and bloggers could become posts shared on Google+. Since these posts are selective contents with users’ options, they are very interactive and attractive that can create enormous activities on Google+.

However, on current YouTube Service, it takes 5 Steps to share a Video and comment on Google+. Why not share a comment and YouTube video on Google+ in one step? This design could turn 60- 80% of comments of YouTube into posts on Google+.

In the blue circle of image below, as user check the Tick Box and click Post button, this video and its comment are shared on Google+.

In the following image, the YouTube video and my comment “This is going to be awesome movie… ” was shared on Google+.

In the blue circle, the red number “1” indicates that I have one notification on YouTube. Click the red number “1” to view the notification.  As I click the red YouTube icon on the right, the page will jump to where it is on YouTube Channel.

On YouTube page, I can see more details about the video, comment and reply. This design allow users to switch from Google+ account to YouTube, Blogger or Gmail in one click.

According above design, share comments of YouTube directly on Google+ will bring tremendous posts to the social network. Also merge the relationship of YouTube into Google+. Showing notification could make Google+ an information centre of YouTube, Blogger, Gmail.

Evidence:   Sina is a dominant online media company in China, it like Yahoo for American. Sina owns a Twitter and Facebook-like micro blogging social network - Sina Weibo, which has over 500 million users and 86.6% of overall micro-blogger browsing time in China.

The main reason that Sina Weibo is so successful, it allows users to share their comments about Sina news directly to Sina Weibo by simply checking the tick box. Similar to the design illustrated in the first image.

Sina is like Chinese version of Yahoo, there are enormous readers left their comments on Sina news, bloggers, videos. Thus, most of these comments are shared as posts on Sina Weibo, which are interest and interactive contents that can be consumed in the social network.  Whereas, the other Chinese companies do not have such powerful media to support them, their social networks have little activities.

Online Media determine the fate of future Social Networks. Yahoo bought Tumblr may has similar plan; Yahoo news and comments shared on Tumblr that will increase activities for their social network, so attract more people join Tumblr. Thus, this social network generates more preference-orientate information to reinforce Yahoo search engine. Yahoo could return to centre business of Internet.

I don't want there to be a tick box or any other path. YouTube comment quality is so low, there's no conceivable way that passing it through to G+ would be of benefit or advisable in any way.

    1. There are no such high quality things from public. most ordinary people are stupid. Look the garbage shared on Twitter and Facebook.

However, it doesn't matter, as long as people making posts, and interact to each other, keep the network going.

Recap: If users don't check the tick box, the comments are not sent to G+

Thus, people select what comments about YouTube videos to be shared on G+, most YouTube videos are solid content. After people filter out, there should be better quality of comments and YouTube videos are shared directly to G+.
